Recently a colorful registered letter arrived from Lesotho.

Inside it were two photographs and a number of receipts.

Our Thusanang Project Manager, Ntate Machabe Machabe sent these to show us how your money is being spent on supporting the orphans and vulnerable children at the Mt Moorosi Child Care Centre.

We are now arranging for further funds to be transferred.

Please donate if you feel to do so.  You may use the donate button on our Lovelight Home Page.

More funds sent for Orphans

Saturday, 16 June 2007

Through the generosity of our donors, Lovelight of Byron Bay Charitable Trust has been able to sent a further A$400 to our Thusanang partners in Lesotho as a consequence of receiving the Thusanang Project Update Report (below).  This translates into approximately M2,400 (Maluti's equal in value to the South African Rand) which is the local currency.

Our Lesotho Thusanang Project Manager Ntate Machabe Machabe has received the funds safely and will apply these funds to the relief and support of vulnerable children and orphans in Lesotho.

We await Ntate Machabe's next project update report before we will send further funds which have since arrived here in Australia.

We send much love to our brothers and sisters in Lesotho and Africa generally.

Lovelight of Byron Bay Trustees and Donors.

Our Thusanang Project Manager Ntate Machabe Machabe sends us a project update report.  Things happen slowly in Africa, but the seed needs to be planted for the tree to grow... and Thusanang has taken root...

Below, please find the report 'verbatim' from dear Machabe.  It is very touching.
